About FKCCI

Federation of Karnataka Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FKCCI), a distinguished organization with a legacy spanning 108 years, was founded by the illustrious Bharata Ratna Sir. M. Visvesvaraya, renowned for his engineering prowess, visionary leadership, and remarkable contributions to institution & nation building. His legacy began with the establishment of the Mysore Chamber of Commerce on May 8th,1916, which diligently served the interests of the business community from its inception.

Subsequently, the Chamber evolved into the Federation of Karnataka Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FKCCI). Over the past century & more, FKCCI has been guided by distinguished industrialists, solidifying its position as the apex organization for industry, trade, and service sectors in Karnataka. Since its inception, FKCCI has been committed to promoting state & national interests through fostering economic growth, both through public and private sector initiatives, and actively influencing policy-making at State and Central levels. Its membership base, representing diverse sectors of industry, trade, and services, underscores its widespread influence. With more than a century of dedicated service to Commerce and Industry, FKCCI ranks among the country’s foremost chambers and holds the distinction of being one of the oldest chambers in any state in India.

About MSME

Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise (MSME) is a highly vibrant and dynamic sector of the Indian economy. MSME sector not only plays a crucial role in providing greater employment opportunities at comparatively lower capital cost as compared to large industries but also helps in industrialization of rural & backward areas, thereby reducing regional imbalances and assuring more equitable distribution of national income and wealth. After Agriculture, MSME sector holds the second largest share in employment generation. MSMEs also contribute enormously to the socio-economic development of country by acting as the backbone of the industrial sector in terms of their numbers.

Aims & Objectives

The MSME Conclave-2024 aims to enhance the connection between Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) and Public Sector Units (PSUs) and corporate entities under the government’s procurement preference scheme. Its goal is to better understand the procurement needs, enabling MSMEs to compete in the global market through vendor development, focusing on the creation of indigenous products under the Make in India program.
